Everything you need to know about submitting your research proposal to DU-ISERC — timelines, requirements and fees.
The application should be submitted three (3) weeks prior to the next scheduled meeting.
Where DU-ISERC requests supplementary information or changes to documents, such information must be provided within the stipulated time for consideration by the full DU-ISERC.
Where clarification is sought and researchers fail to respond within two months, DU-ISERC will send a reminder and allow a further two-month period. Beyond four months total, the file will be closed without granting permission to conduct research.
A researcher may be asked to give an oral presentation of the research at a DU-ISERC meeting, including follow-up and end-reports where necessary.
Three review tracks with defined turnaround times
All complete applications for normal reviews will be completed within twenty-one (21) working days of receipt by the reviewer.
All complete applications for expedited reviews shall be reviewed within seven (7) working days of receipt by the reviewer.
All resubmitted applications shall be reviewed within fourteen (14) working days of receipt by the reviewer.
All proposals must be uploaded via the Thesis Management System (TMS).

Download the prescribed application form from the TMS website and submit with all required attachments. All documents must be written in English.

There shall be a fee for the review of every proposal, determined from time to time by Daystar University ISERC. The current charges are as follows:

Payment is to be made to the DU-ISERC and a copy of the receipt attached to the application form.
